More mana is always nice, but the additional Intellect granted by this talent also increases your spell damage with the Holy Guidance talent (further down in the tree). Divine Intellect (5/5) - Increases your Intellect by 10%.This build picks up most of its talents from the Holy tree, but goes into Retribution for some nice support talents, as well as Sanctity Aura, which is what you'll be using if you're in DPS mode.Īlright, let's dig into this build and see what's going on! It's also got the potential for some great burst damage, if used properly.
Wow tbc 2.4.3 shockadin free#
If you have any furthur inquiries, feel free to ask. This week on Build Shop I've got another Paladin build for you all to digest - Shockadin (aka 40/0/21)! I like this build because it's all purpose, allowing you to act as the main healer for an instance if necessary, but giving you the freedom to go grind or farm or what have you without needing to respec.
I'm working on a more detailed reck/ret build information, but I'm waiting until I have more free time to do so. Here Crusade and Vindication are interchangeable. You lack the controlled burst provided by Crusader Strike, but do gain +6% stamina and Divine Shield on a 3 min CD with no attack speed penalty. This spec is all about praying for Reckoning to proc and going all out. Retribution / Reckoning and Sacred Duty – In order for this build to work, the paladin must stack a lot of spell damage and hope for a crit. It allows the paladin to heal him or herself, as well as provide an initial burst of DPS, and is popular in arenas. This build focuses on burst DPS and healing, and is usually used in Arena/PvP.
This is not a raid welcome build due to the mana-inefficiency, but it is a viable option for soloing holy paladins or PvP holy paladins wanting to do burst damage. The two things to note here is that Holy Guidance increases holy damage, and Sanctity Aura increases holy damage done by 10%. Damage: Retribution paladins and shockadins.
